Use Thank You Song Lyrics to Inspire Your Thank You Notes

The lyrics from thank you songs can provide an excellent starting point if you’re scratching your head in frustration, waiting for inspiration to strike while preparing to send your latest note of thanks. If you’re simply not the creative type or you’re looking for something a little different to say this year while sending out your thank you cards, browsing through old thank you song lyrics could provide some fresh words or phrases that you feel comfortable using.
There are two ways to incorporate gratitude song lyrics into your thank you note or letter. Firstly, I recommend trying to blend some your chosen song lyrics in with your own words. It’s a good idea to avoid coping large, well-known lines from your chosen song (or your recipient might be able to work out where the sentiments you are passing off as your own have been copied from!).
The alternative is to select a part of your chosen thank you song lyric that is particularly poignant or will be relevant to your recipient. This is a lovely and thoughtful way to personalise a thank you note and is sure to be well-received… especially if handwritten inside an attractive card or on handmade paper.
