When Writing Articles Is Both Fun And Profitable

Do you really want to know about writing articles? “No, thanks” you might say.
Hold on. What if you are told that when you write articles you can also sell products and services? Can you believe that?
But, wait, we are not talking about writing articles about products or services. Not exactly, you see. You can write about anything under the sun without mentioning a brand name. You can write about global warming but you are leading your readers to know more about the ill effects of global warming on gardens and homes. You are not selling but you are marketing.
You might ask – what is the difference? It is whole lot different to say that you are selling a product or a service from saying that you are marketing the product or service.
The difference lies in the distribution. Selling is distribution of the products or services to reach to the doorstep of the end-users. End-users are the ones who are going to consume the products or the ones who will benefit from the services. Marketing is simply the distribution of the information of the products or services that will satisfy the needs of your end-users.
Hence, when you write articles on any topic that eventually leads to inform, remind, provide solutions to a need by a group of people, then you are actually writing articles to market the products or services that have something to do with the needs of your targeted consumers or end-users.
Okay? That is clear, right? Did you know that by writing articles in an in-explicit way to market a product or a service you are going to receive profits? Yes and yes. You can get extra income by writing articles. Affiliate marketers pay commissions on articles that come into their sites or are linked somehow to products or services that these internet marketers push. You can be both the supplier of the product or service and the writer for articles that attract prospective customers.
Yet, if you just want to make money out of writing articles, you can start developing your blogs or introduce your own website that links your articles into resource boxes of other sites or in some indiscreet medium or media that professional bloggers may reveal if you ask them.
Assuming that you want to do this, you might like to ask – “Do I need to go to a journalism class to learn about writing?”
The answer is a big NO. Absolutely, all you need to have is basic knowledge of basic grammar and correct spelling. If you do not have any aptitude for those either, you must be lying for how can you read this article in the first place, wise guy?
Okay, maybe you meant that you cannot write correct sentence construction. Okay, that is still allowable. There are no strict journalistic rules on writing articles on the Web, except perhaps vulgar, obscene, profane, and obnoxious language.
Come on, writing articles in the Internet is freedom of expression. It is fun and profitable, don’t you agree now?
