No matter what kind of business you’re in, the better you are, the more money you’ll make. Average baseball players make average money. Fantastic golf club manufacturers make fantastic money. And the best writers make the top cash.
How do you become the best of the best? Easy. All you’ve got to do is follow this two step procedure, on a consistent basis, and you’ll be good enough to write from anywhere in the world and receive a handsome salary.
The first step is to write. This sounds foolish, but they are plenty of self-proclaimed “writers” who’ve never written anything other than their name. Don’t be one of those guys. You’ve got to write every single day, as much as you can. Shoot for a couple thousand words per day. Is that too much? Not really.
Most people who are in the top of their game practice for hours a day. If it takes you three hours to write two thousand words of publishable material, so be it. Did you think you become skilled enough to earn six figures a year with only twenty or thirty minutes a week? Sorry to break it to you, but while you are trying all those shortcuts, there are other people putting in the hard work.
