All of us at some point while surfing the Internet have landed on a sales letter page. While sitting there reading the page, we considers purchasing the product or service. Unfortunately, very few of us read the entire offer on that sales page before scrolling and scanning for what matters the most. People who take time to read the entire sale page are only looking for one thing. What do can they get out of it?
Potential prospects landing on a sales page will likely do the exact same thing. So what does it take for potential prospects or customers to see the value in what you offer? You need to let your reader know exactly how your product or service will make a difference in their lives. This is crucial to the success of an online business.

Sales letter writing needs to focus on the benefits to the customer from your product or service. They need to know what’s in it for them. And more importantly, what will happen if they don’t buy your product or service. You need to paint the bright side, and the dark side in that order. Potential prospects or customers have to be “grabbed” by effective sales letter writing. Effective sales letter writing has a “hook” that grabs the reader, and holds them through the entire sales letter. It also instills a sense of urgency in the reader to immediately take action on your product or service. A killer sales letter always sympathizes with the reader by appealing to the emotional aspect of their problem or situation.
