My wife and I began designing an outdoor entertainment space a of couple years ago, after building our first home together. We own a landscaping business that focuses on native plants, rocks, and other materials. To us, the perfect outdoor design blends in with the natural flora of the surrounding area, and whenever we see a residential or business landscape that clashes with its natural surroundings, we find the look to be jarring and unnatural. We’re also bothered by the negative effects of introducing plants that could possibly become parasitic. This is why, in our design process, we chose wood, plants, and other materials that were native to our area. In addition to being nature enthusiasts, we are also music lovers. Neither of us could imagine entertaining in a space without music. Of course, plants and rocks don’t come wired for sound. This is why we were intrigued with the outdoor rock speakers that we found at http://ginelectronics.com/indoor-outdoor-speakers.
Our First Project – the Patio!
As we contemplated the incorporation of these outdoor rock speakers into our outdoor design, my wife was at first nervous that speaker designers at http://ginelectronics.com/indoor-outdoor-speakers, in creating artful and “hidden” units, might be sacrificing audio quality for aesthetics. I am generally inclined to follow her recommendations, as she has a master’s degree in music theory; however, I was so impressed with the designs that I encouraged her to give the speakers a chance. I’m also no slouch when it comes to music myself, and I’ve played studio guitar and toured regionally with a fold band since I was in college. She was a great sport and agreed to go along with a “trial.” Well, she loved the sound quality! The end result was a neat little stone patio with our strategically placed “torch” speakers surrounding the space with music. We spend many evenings with company, enjoying the music along with our beloved plants. In fact, we have an annual lawn competition, and my wife and I were blessed to receive a reward for our landscaping. The ability to blend our native landscape with absolutely stellar sound quality from our outdoor speakers has made this favorite project one that we will obviously enjoy for years!
Our Next Project – In Ground Speakers!
Once we had our intimate outdoor space to our liking, we realized that we had additional outdoor space that would be ideal for more robust outdoor activities. This is a space in which we envisioned having birthday parties, family reunions, back yard barbecues, and other activities. Because music is what keeps these activities exciting, we decided to go with in ground speakers. Once again, we paid a visit to http://ginelectronics.com/indoor-outdoor-speakers. We really enjoyed the fact that the in ground speakers could be buried directly into our yard. I can imagine that this makes these speakers an ideal choice for commercial entertainment venues as well. These in-ground speakers can also be pointed in multiple directions, allowing the music to follow the crowd, a small but critical detail by http://ginelectronics.com/indoor-outdoor-speakers that really helps to make the best of outdoor entertaining spaces.
Having now completed two major sound projects the Gin Electronics, and having thoroughly researched all that this company has to offer, I cannot imagine going anywhere else for exceptional and reasonably priced sound systems and speakers.
