Paris Hilton’s Dog Got Abducted By Space Aliens!

Okay so, as a creative writer, it’s often hard to find legitimate and steady work. Yes, it is true that if you write a few novels and they get popular, or even have one turned into a screenplay and an actual movie on the silver screen you can make quite a bit of money. You will also develop a name for yourself, and perhaps you can start writing a series of books. That’s all great and wonderful, but breaking into that limited venue of the big creative writers and top novelists is not as easy as it appears.
Indeed, it is true that there are many writing classes, seminars, books, and even college courses you can take to hone your skills as a creative writer, and even courses which will teach you how to market your work. This is all good and wonderful, but the reality is that only a small percentage of writers ever make it in the marketplace. I would submit to you that most creative writers are not looking at all the potential sources to make money with their trade.
Have you ever considered creative writing at the tabloids, those alternative news sources which appear to be making up half of what they print, and the other half they claim they have inside information, a picture as proof, or paparazzi gossip to distribute – would this be a potential venue for you? Now you might laugh because I called the stories and articles in these tabloids creative writing projects. But imagine sitting around the table at night eating pizza, appetizers, and getting a little tipsy and then your group, perhaps call it a think tank, or a mastermind club comes up with the most bizarre and outrageous stories.
We all know that there are people out there who will believe just about any conspiracy theory. In fact there is one famous quote that goes something like this; “it is amazing what humans can be led to believe.” In reality that’s very true isn’t it, we have politicians who lie at the podium and get plenty of votes, sometimes garner 50% of the voting public during the election. We have religions, cults, and even late-night talk shows where people actually invent tales, stories, and conspiracy theories.
Of course, nothing is better than creative writing for the tabloids. It almost seems as if anything goes, and the bits and pieces of gossip collected from various sources can be put together, and the writer can use their imagination creating a web of intrigue as the format and foundation of their story. If you are creative writer out of work, maybe you can go work for one of the tabloids? Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
