Are you leery about signing to get paid to write at an online writing job because you have no idea how – or if – you’ll get paid? If so, you’re not alone. As an online writing coach, the biggest fear my students tell me is that they worry they’re going to get snookered.
Remember the story of Batman? He overcame his fear because he looked it straight in the face. He stood in a cave filled with bats and let them swirl around him. He flinched at first, but after a few minutes, he was able to tolerate the feeling. In the end, his very fear turned him into the legend he is today.
Of course, this is a fictional representation, but it’s true in real life, too. You often just have to bite the bullet and face your fear to move on and succeed.
The same is true to get paid to write. At first, you have no idea what to expect – from your client or from the job. But it doesn’t take long before you become accustomed to a new routine. You grow to love it and depend on it for your income stream.
I’m going to show you how you can get paid to write – and quickly. My catchphrase, if you will, is “Get paid writing in three days or less.” You may or may not end up with the money in your PayPal account within three days, but it’s darn close. You can pretty much figure you’ll get the money in hand in less than a week after starting.
Here’s my five-step, sure-fire method to get paid writing in three days… or less!
1. Sign up for a contributor account on associatedcontent.com and bukisa.com. This is 100% free – there’s never any cost involved.
2. Write one article. Don’t make it too long – you don’t want to be there forever! Just write 400-500 words. Write it around a topic you like. Maybe you just saw a movie and you want to do a top five list of an actor’s best movie appearances.
3. Submit the article to Associated Content. If the editors like your article, they’ll offer you an upfront payment for it.
This upfront payment might range anywhere between $2.50 to $15.00, depending on the quality, subject content and whether or not they already have similar content on their website.
4. Wait for editorial approval from Associated Content. This is the part that takes the longest. You might get reviewed in 24 hours or 7 days – you never know. If your article is accepted for upfront payment, wait until it’s published to move onto step 5 (Associated Content will email you when they publish it). They’ll credit your PayPal account in a few days.
If Associated Content doesn’t accept it for upfront payment, resubmit it for performance payment only. That means you’ll make money every time a reader clicks on your article.
5. Submit the article to bukisa.com. They pay double what Associated Content pays for performance payment.
You’re done! That’s my sure-fire way to get paid to write in three days or less.
That wasn’t so hard now, was it?
