There are many stories in many different categories of creative writing. You have to have passion on what you write about. If you do not have love for your work, it might not be a very good story. So let’s sit and brainstorm on how to write successfully. It will help a lot in your way of looking at creative writing.
What do you love to read? Never stop reading, as it helps you to becoming a great writer. Since you love to write, do not let it stop you from reading. It helps you get your creative wheel spinning. Read many categories, not just the ones that you prefer. You never know what kind of ideas will pop into your head. Look at the whole picture of writing; you can get good marketing strategies. You also will have good business ideas for getting your book, or story out there.
No one is a perfect writer. There is not one perfect person out in our world. So admit to yourself that your writing is not perfect and you will become a successful creative writer. So never stop learning about yourself and your ideas. Learn from other writers mistakes as well as your own.
You have to choose a topic; so chose one that you love, or one that you hate. As long as it is something that you can write about. That it puts a spark in your heart. You may not know everything about this topic. So, do lots of research, research until you can no long research. Research from sun down to sun up as long as you write creatively.
Learn new words every day, it helps build your vocabulary. It can help you build your story line and make the effects come out of the story. You will have your readers on the edge of their seats. Make sure everyone can feel the mood of the story.
Always carry a pen and a notebook. This way if you are sitting down somewhere and think a great piece for your story, you can write it down. If you are walking in a store, or even going to the bathroom, write it down. The mind can play dirty tricks on you, and make you forget by the time you can write it down. You will make yourself sick trying to figure out what it was that you wanted to do. It is rare to have good ideas, and you never want to lose them. It is what makes your story interesting, and people will always come back.
Do not write because you need to make a living. Write because you love to, and it interests you. To earn money from something you love to do, is what puts the icing on the cake. It shows how passionate you are about your work. If you write because you need the money, you might end up losing the passion of yourself. You will one day have your stories to show your children or grandchildren. They will be proud of you as well as the world.
