Great copywriting, copy that is enticing, is a scientific process as well as an artful go round. The reason I point this out is that art is the persuasion or convincing someone to purchase something or click here or there for more info and the science part is the measurement that follows in number of hits and downloads or purchase.

While her book does contain some extraneous material (the section on “creative aerobics” can probably be tossed) her overall message is consistent and newbie copywriters or small business owners should find it valuable.
Writing engaging copy is more important than ever in these highly competitive times. Regardless if you do copy for print media or online use the key point they state is so true:. “whether reading online or offline sales messages, there’s no difference in peoples behavior. When people are told an “offer ends this Tuesday, buy now” they act immediately, regardless of whether they’re being told to in print media or online. You must tell the reader what to do next. Don’t assume anything, tell them what to do and they will normally do it.Writing good copy is so important to business success, yet few people (including myself) know how to do it well.
Writing decent copy is the biggest stumbling block I seem to have. Whenever I sit down to try to write some, I draw a complete blank and end up creating the usual bullets of features, benefits etc…and if my time permits, I let it sit overnight, then rework it to death. I’m a webmaster trying to be a good writer, and I am finding my logical mind interferes quite a bit with the process. Perhaps I should frequent a Coffee Shop when I sit to write great copy. Having some good coffee with my copy just might make me a great writer!.
