Is This Too Simple A Method To Actually Make Money Online

The Internet is full of information that teaches you how to make money online. Some of the methods are dubious, some are unworkable and there are some that seem too simple to actually work. As strange as it may seem I am going to give you one of those methods that seem too simple to actually work. I must tell you however that lots of successful people online have made their success by following methods that others have discarded as being too simple to work.
Now I don’t want anyone reading this article thinking I’m about to give you a get rich quick formula. Oh no, this also involves work. Are you ready to work? Then let’s begin.
Choose a niche.
Wow! Nothing new there but you do need to choose a niche that you are at least interested in. Let’s face it, if you are not interested in your niche why do you want to pass yourself off as somebody who is interested in that niche? You will merely be trying to deceive people and after a while they will be able to tell that you are not interested in your niche and neither are you interested in them or their success. It makes sense then to be interested in whatever niche you are going into and not just because it looks like people are making money in that niche.
Build a traffic capture page.
Once again there is absolutely nothing new about this. That said, a lot of people online think it is a waste of time to build a list. They are content it seems, to send their hard earned traffic direct to a sales page. My experience has shown that as much as you can get people to buy from your sales page the first time they get there you can do a better job if you actually build a list of people who were interested in your topic. You can then send them to a sales page after you have built a relationship with them. They are more likely to visit and buy from your sales page as a friend than as a stranger to you.
Drive targeted traffic to your traffic capture page.
There are so many ways of driving traffic to your website that I would need to write a whole eBook of maybe 120+ pages to even begin to do justice to this subject. Of course I cannot do that here so I will simply say article writing is one of the best ways that you can use to drive targeted traffic to your website. Obviously the website that I’m referring to here is a list building website where you capture the names and addresses of your visitors to build a subscriber base.
You can write articles like this one and in your resource box direct your reader to your website where they can obtain further information on the subject that you have written about.
Ask questions. Now that you have driven traffic to your traffic capture page you want to find out what these people actually need. This is how you are going to build a relationship with them. Why do you have to ask them what they need? Simply put, you want to make sure that your offer is targeted and that you are actually helping the people on your list to achieve their goals online. If you do not ask them questions then you will simply be guessing at what they want. More often than not you are going to get it wrong and they will soon unsubscribe from your list. All the hard work done building a traffic capture page and driving traffic to that page becomes a wasted effort.
Create a product that people have asked for. Now you know what people want you need to source it or create it yourself. Once done make it available to them for free or for a fee. It is as simple as that.
You will be offering them something that they have already indicated that they want to buy. It certainly beats and guessing and bombarding them with one ‘buy me’ offer after another. Products I must point out that they don’t even want in the first place.
