Sometimes I look at a blank page and nothing comes to mind. My mind seems to be going numb, as if I cannot think of anything to write and my thoughts will not come clear. It’s a lot like having nothing to talk about at a social gathering. Friends and family are all around but you cannot think of anything to say. How can this be, if I have so many things floating around in my head but nothing seems to manifest. With so many hobbies and projects that I enjoy working on you would think it would be simple to come up with 600 words on a page. Where should I look for guidance and motivation to create my masterpiece?
The answer is quite simple, draw on your own experience, hobbies and background. Once you begin to create informative articles from your own strengths, you will see the page pour out like rain in a flash flood.
Start by finding something that you really care about in your own life and start to write about that subject. You will start to find it is very simple to write about topics you enjoy and the information will present its self so much faster than fighting with your mind to come up with something that you do not know about. The truth is that you are not alone in your thoughts, many people will enjoy reading your articles and find your words very interesting on any subject that you choose to write about. This is where you can start to shine like a diamond in the field just under the surface. You’ll never know that it is there until you start to dig just a little bit to find what you have to offer the world.
Read other peoples articles and maybe you will find something more to write about in the future. Reading has never made anyone think less about topics and world events around them. Even if the book or article puts you to sleep you will recall something from your reading that will help you find a topic in the future to write about. Some of the best ideas have been created by people who might of never picked up a pen or started typing on a keyboard with out a push from another author or a paper on a subject they enjoyed.
Writing should never be something that causes you to bang your head off a brick wall. If it ever does just stop working so hard and start enjoying what you are writing about once again. Find something that you enjoy and others are bound to enjoy it also. Even if they don’t like your writing style or topics, remember your writing because you want to write, not because you want others to read it.
It is that simple just pick a topic and let your fingers flow on the keyboard. Before you know it you will have hundreds or maybe thousands of Ezine Articles floating around the Internet.
