There is a little over 2,000 students that are currently registered to attend one of the four Secaucus New Jersey Public Schools with close to 120 different classroom teachers that collectively work together in order to make sure that they are all cared for each school day. Even though these numbers may seem quite small for an entire school district, they have been able to thrive and consistently succeed over the years in different achievement areas that other school districts have failed. Here is some more information about the four schools that are all included within the circle of Secaucus New Jersey Public Schools.

Clarendon Elementary School

Clarendon Elementary School is one of the two elementary schools available for students to attend in Secaucus. Studies have shown that there are currently about 620 students that are enrolled to attend this school. According to their school’s motto and target objective, the faculty of Clarendon Elementary School work hard through each step of their journey in order to grow global learners simply through the two empowering elements of positive culture as well as academic challenges that will allow them to thrive and develop the burning desire to succeed in every aspect of their lives.

Huber Street Elementary School

Huber Street Elementary School is the second and final elementary school available within the district of Secaucus New Jersey Public Schools. They have a slightly smaller student population than Clarendon with only about 540 students currently enrolled to attend their institution.

One of their main focuses is to keep the parents involved in their student’s educational lives as much as possible, because they realize that it is truly the key to success when it comes to the overall academic and social development of those young children. They encourage the parents of their students to stay involved and stay in the loop of communication so that they always know exactly how their children are performing academically and are able to assist in any way that they can.

Secaucus Middle & High School

Secaucus Middle School is the only middle school available within the school district and currently has close to 300 students enrolled to attend. Since the elementary schools cover all grades between Kindergarten and 6th grade, it make sense that the middle school would have the lowest school population in the district because it only covers two grade levels before the vast majority of their students advance to high school in the 9th grade.

If they decide to stay within the Secaucus New Jersey Public Schools district, then the only high school that they will go to that is available is Secaucus High School which has currently close to 630 students in attendance, which is fairly close to the population of Clarendon Elementary. Out of over 320 schools across the state of New Jersey, Secaucus High School was ranked #90 by the New Jersey Monthly magazine, which was a big improvement from their ranking of 102 in the previous year. It is clear that, even though there are much bigger school districts throughout the country, the schools within the Secaucus New Jersey Public Schools are still able to successfully care for the academic needs of all of their students.
