One of the biggest reasons that a lot of people go to Secaucus is because they know that it’s a shopper’s paradise. It’s one of the first places that had outlet shopping, and it’s a great place for people who are bargain hunting. Secaucus’s outlet shopping started because of the abundance of large warehouses in the commercial sector of the town. It’s not really glitzy. But it’s a lot of fun.
Let’s start with the outlets, since that is where most people go to when they are visiting Secaucus. When you go to the first outlet, chances are that you are going to find the Outlet Guides close to the door. These are going to give maps and the lists of the other stores. One thing to remember is that not all of the stores are going to be in that guide, since it has to be updated often.
There are some manufacturers which only open the warehouses for sales that only last one or two weekends. Mikasa has a sale that happens at Christmas and many people flock to Secaucus for this every December. As you are driving along, keep your eyes out for some signs about sales. It’s possible that you’ll find some great bargains.
Other than the outlets in Secaucus, you are going to find some other great shopping opportunities as well. You can go to Wal-Mart, Marshalls, Sam’s Club, Best Buy, and Petsmart just to name a few. You are also going to find a lot of other things that you might want to use when you are in the area – travel agencies, restaurants, cleaners, jewelers, hair dressers, pharmacies, and other things that you might need in a pinch. There is also an abundance of great Italian food such as delis, pizzerias, and other Italian restaurants. If Italian isn’t your think, you’ll find other kinds of food. Just ask around.
Harmon Cove
Although it’s not in Secaucus proper, there is another great outlet center with more than 50 stores that you can go to not far from Secaucus. These stores have a lot to offer and they are a great place to go when you have exhausted your Secaucus outlets.
Plaza Meadows
These are also not in Secaucus, however they are close. This is a little group of different stores which surround the park square. There’s also 15 eateries and restaurants, along with two movie theaters and a good selection of hotels.
No matter what you are looking for when you are shopping in Secaucus, NJ, you are going to find a lot of things to choose from. With so many choices for shopping in Secaucus, you will undoubtedly leave with your arms full of your new merchandise. With clothing stores, perfume stores, jewelry stores, and countless numbers of restaurants, it’s almost impossible not to find something that you will like. Everyone who comes here goes home with at least one purchase that they have made from their favorite store or even a store they’ve never been to before.
