VintaSoft Ltd releases the major version 6.1 of Barcode SDK for .NET and WPF wich includes series of enhancements and improvements.
The following new barcode symbologies were added in barcode reader and barcode generator algorithms: MSI Modified Plessey, ISBN, ISSN, ISMN. Additional
symbols +2/+5 used in EAN and UPC barcode families are writeable now.
As the result the VintaSoft Barcode .NET SDK can now recognize generate about 55 linear (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) barcodes from to image files and
image resources of PDF documents.
2D matrix barcode symbologies QR Code, DataMatrix, Aztec recognition speed increased. The modified search algorithms finds the linear barcodes up to 25%
faster than before.
New version includes the ability to serialize and deserialize WriterSettings to XML file and now the SDK offers this functionality in both barcode reader and
writer.
A lot of work was done to make the really increase in quality of PDF417 barcode recognition. The algorithm was modified according to deep analysis of great
volume of images with PDF417 barcodes and can now satisfy the most exacting expectations.
A few new abilities were added in existing functionality. From now you can encoding mode (A, B, C) in Code 128 barcodes, draw text value of 2D barcode on the
image along with barcode and use codepage of text for decoding value of barcode.
Releasing this version VintaSoft Ltd takes care about your time and specially for its saving we developed “Barcode Reader Calibration Demo” which helps to
find optimal barcode reader settings for reading barcodes from an image collection of the same type. Now it is possible to use “Half-automatic way” which
will help you to create stable barcode reading system. The demo executable and sources codes (in C#) are a part of VintasoftBarcode.NET SDK setup package.

VintaSoftBarcode.NET SDK is the professional .NET barcode reader and barcode
