Speaker Do You Use These Strategies To Release Your Magnificence

In this article you get your hands on a public speaking formula, a sure formula, to allow your personal magnificence as a public speaker to flourish. The effect on your success as a speaker may be phenomenal. Take these words to heart and you’ll stand tall and proud as a matador. You’ll impact audiences like never before. At least this proved to be true for me.
1. INITIAL UNDERSTANDINGS
Most lesser mortals have no idea of their magnificence. I mean their personal magnificence. You see, ordinary folks, lack your vision, dear reader. They lack your insight into the higher truths of life.
They do not know what you know. They do not recognize that they are here as the servant of the creator of us all. Here is supporting proof of what I just said:
Regardless of how you may feel about his politics or his morals, there is no denying that John F. Kennedy had the finest education his father’s money could buy. He also had a brilliant intellect.
The closing words of his inaugural speech as he became president of the United States were these: “Here on earth God’s work must truly be our own.”
So as you go forth to enjoy the privilege of the platform, remember his words. As you stand before your audiences, have in mind that they want more than your information, more than your ideas and more that your guidance.
They hunger for hope. They are bent upon believing. They are eager to awaken to their highest possibilities here. And you may facilitate this when you speak.
Here’s my real life experience when I was about 22 and working my way through the only year of college I ever got. I worked all day as a door-to-door salesman for my uncle’s furniture store in the Kensington district of Philadelphia. At night I took classes at Temple University.
I lived at the YMCA. One evening Milliard J. Bennett showed up to present an ex tempore talk before the young men sitting in the lobby. He changed my life when he said these words. “Your voice is the instrument on which you play the symphony of your life.” I intuitively recognized, accepted, embraced and engaged his words.
I bought a little diction enhancement book at a used bookstore. Then I started at once to exercise my lips, tongue and jaws. I did articulation exercises relentlessly every day. I started my voice training regimen, worked ferociously. I got rid of the Philadelphia twang, deregionalized my voice, and improved my enunciation. I did not know that I was preparing to be a professional speaker.
(I still have a copy of the articulation exercises from that book. If you want to improve your voice the way I did, send me a stamped self-addressed #10 envelope. I’ll mail you a complimentary copy. Outside USA, please include a dollar to cover postage.)
You’re an aspiring speaker or maybe a new speaker or you’d not be reading these words. You succeed faster when you recognize, accept, embrace, and engage your magnificence. I want you to take the actions that release and give wings to your magnificence.
2. ACTIONS TO TAKE
To release your magnificence now, simply engage your assets.
You can easily do this:
Because you are in total, absolute control of your most valuable asset: You.
So do one thing… Just one:
Use your asset… Be of greater service to more audience members and to the decision-makers who hire you.
Take the bit in your teeth. Be fiercely committed. Surrender to your purpose.
Put all your chips on the table and place your bet… Place your bet on you.
It’s no sin if you don’t win. It’s a tragedy not to find out what you really can do.
So grab yourself a dream. Yours. Pay the price to make it happen.
Here’s a secret: There’s no way to fail. You win. You win. You always and evermore win.
That’s because through your grit, gall and gumption you reveal the greater you.
You reveal the possible you… the possible… you.
3. THE FORMULA
So this is your formula… And here is your key:
Be of greater service to your audiences, to your decision-makers… and to more of the others in your universe…
Then, as Polonius said, “it must follow as the night the day… ” you always and evermore win.
You defeat your demons… You slay your saboteurs…
You emerge into the light… You reveal the incredible you.
And you celebrate all the way to the bank.
