You will first need a reliable hosting partner, we will recommend you to go for something like blue host or you can host with us if you are located in Singapore or Cambodia. Hosting is an important backbone for any website, a good
hosting is like getting a good computer. A fast computer has fast response and good to use, a slow hosting on the other hand is a slow computer an gives the user a bad experience when the page is loading. Login to your control
panel, also known as Cpanel, Look out for the terms Mojoscripts or Softaculous in the the scripts sections. This is where you can find the scripts to install, scroll through the list for blogs and locate wordpress.. Click on the install
button, now they will prompt you to install on with and without the www prefix, I will strongly suggest you to chose that option and not leave it to the default as you will be needing some seo for it as well.
They next prompt you to enter the folder. Default we will normally leave it blank so it falls in the default folder, But if you want to install as a blog of your current website, then enter the folder name so it will appear as like “folder-name”
so the website will be like in our case, we do it as www.reachmedia.com.sg/seo
Change the user name to somehting different and do not leave it to the default admin and create a complex password to keep it secure. Click the install now button and in just less than 15 seconds, the wordpress is being installed in
your domain name. The place to access the backend is in the wp-admin folder so open your web browser and type in your domwin name like www.reachmedia.com.sg/seo/wp-admin Note that if you do not put in a folder name then
just enter the wp-admin at the end of your domain. Instructioons and guide of the folder is also given at the end of the installation.
A Few things to note after you have installed and to begin working with it. Themes. Working with Themes, to build a website, either you have a website design done up already by your web development company or designer, or you
can select a theme forom the list. You can also go for premium themes which are available out in the market for a small price usually between 20 to 30 dollars. Go to your left side of the dash board and select appearance, followed
by themes. This is the place you will search for the theme you want, enter the keywords you want or colors you want and you will see the list of available free themes in it. There are thousands of free themes in the wordpress library.
