Writing Blog Articles For Money – First Set Standard Rates For Your Online Blogging

Setting rates is the critical step to make it and break it. Blogging guide does not clearly describes any hard and fast rule for this.
In general, there are only two directions.
1. The writer is influenced by the idea that his/her writing needs improvement and he/she should charge lower than standard rates.
2. Another writer overwhelmed by the market criteria that higher rates boost quality, wants to start higher than the current price.
Looking into the pricing and blog strategy for myself when I started writing blog articles I realize there is a third small group that exist and it is so small that it is hard to be noticed easily.
This group goes with the idea that they have to grab each and every customer and they leave an idea of negotiation about strategic pricing. These are the people who want to grab every opportunity they get. They will accept lower rates from those who only want to pay lower rates. When it comes to higher price paying customer they will charge him/her a little more than a set higher price, as this customer is willing to pay.
These are the people who control the market. So, in other words to be simple and describing it plainly there is no standard rate. All blog writers charge whatever fits in his plans, for blog articles.
This way many writers end up quitting if they are not charging enough to live an average life.
Blogging for dollars depends on your special package for writing blogs, including the requirements and your workload.
1. You and your business.
Owning a big business and doing everything yourself gives a different feeling to its owner. Pricing is effected a lot with this situation. The bigger the business the higher the price is the general rule here. Corporate companies have sky rocketing prices for the same service.
2. How did your client came to you:
This makes a big difference. With an ad or with a recommendation from a friend or other similar reasons.
3. Project date:
If there is enough time to research and write comfortably, or the writer has to hurry up to make the dead line.
4. The topic.
Is it easy for you or you will have to read it in detail. How much time will you spend to write the blog always makes the difference in the price.
5. It also depends on how interesting is the topic:
The subject of the blog article also effects pricing. If it is a subject that you do not like, you naturally have least information about it and now sine you have to write a blog article. so it will take more research and preparation work.
6. Quality of the blog article:
What quality is the client expecting the blog to be, what is his/her purpose? How much does he want to pay?
So, when there are so many strategies to take into considerations while determining the payment options, actually there is no standard rate. It differs from blog to blog product to product. It depends how big is the project. Over all it depends what you want to accept and he/she wants to pay, it is a contractor agreement between writer and the client.
As a beginner I will say if you are getting your acceptable price and a bigger package of blog post, that is the best deal for you. First year is the year of credibility, experience, and getting to know all tricks and techniques of blogger for hire.
