Flexcrypt is announcing a new release of their free encryption software. New feature this time is the option to encrypt the hard drive. With this addition, Flexcrypt has become a robust solution for protection of data in motion and data in storage.

“By adding hard drive encryption, we will attract users whom are looking for a secure storage of their sensitive files. This is a quickly growing market, and Flexcrypt has a very attractive and easy-to-use solution.” Says Andreas Nilsson CEO of Flexcrypt.

The solution is called Flexcrypt Drive, and appears as a new hard drive on the computer. Everything put on Flexcrypt Drive is instantly encrypted. This gives the user full protection if the computer is lost, stolen or broken into. Encryption and Decryption is done automatically, but the user is required to enter a password once per session in order to gain access.
“Flexcrypt Drive gives the user full control and security. Many vendors are offering Online encrypted storage to a high cost, we offer local storage and increased security to a much lower cost.” says Andreas Nilsson.

Flexcrypt Drive is part of the Flexcrypt solution that also includes Email-, Text-, File- and Instant messaging encryption. Private persons may use the free version, but businesses are required to buy of license of Flexcrypt BIZ, or PRO.

Flexcrypt can be downloaded for free at www.flexcrypt.com as well as on several trusted software download sites.
