What my daughter wants most for Christmas

Every year my daughter, Morgan and I choose a theme for our Christmas. We decorate the house room by room and trim the tree from top to bottom with pretties that we make, find in the house or buy centered on that theme.

Plus the gifts are all centered around that theme as well.

Since I started collecting teapots a few years ago I began hosting Afternoon Teas for my friends. We all have a marvelous time and Morgan so enjoys helping bake the scones and cakes and arranging them on a tiered cake plate.

So this year Morgan suggested a Tea Party theme for Christmas. I’m so excited to start shopping for just the perfect gifts. I guess my husband will be getting tea and mugs this year for Christmas. If I bake him plenty of sweets I’m sure he won’t be too awfully disappointed.

A Grimm Fairy Tales Tea Set

This adorable teapots and teaset is decorated with all of my daughter’s favorite fairy tales. From Little Red Riding Hood with the Big Bad Wolf to all Grimm’s beautiful princesses. She loves having Tea Parties with her collection of dolls and teddies. Plus the set comes with its own prettily covered case. It’s great for storing and protecting the set.

Apple Dumplin’ Red Kisses & Apple Dumplin’ Purple Floral

Of course Morgan needs some new friends to attend her teas. These Apple Dumplin’ Dolls will just fit the bill. They’re as cute as buttons and very flexible to fit easily on her small chairs. They’re smiling faces just made me smile, too.

These dolls were so Victorian they fit right into my gift list. These porcelain dolls are absolutely adorable and will add the perfect touch to Morgan’s Afternoon Tea Parties with their ribbons and lace. The one even brings her own Teddy Bear with her to tea. How cute!

Pink Gingham Apron

Morgan definitely needs an apron and accessories to keep her tea party dress neat and spotless while preparing her fare. This pink set, her favorite color, has pretty embroidery on the front. It comes with an oven mitt, pot holder, and towel. So she can wear this while she’s helping me in the kitchen, too.

Red Tulip Children’s Tea-For-One

I couldn’t resist this flower covered tea for one teapot for Morgan. She can enjoy a relaxing cup of tea with me after a long day of entertaining. Decaf of course!

While I was shopping for Morgan I found a gift for myself. I’ll drop my hints to my husband. But if he doesn’t catch on, I’ll just have to gift it to myself!

Summertime Blooms 4 Cup Bone China Teapot

I’m always looking to add to my teapot collection. This one will fit in beautifully. It will be my first teapot from England. I love the cottage roses and the Victorian styling. I have a place all ready for it in the display.

I can hardly wait for Christmas now. I have a feeling we will be hosting an early Afternoon Tea for family on Christmas day while we’re waiting for the turkey to come out of the oven.
