Wine Cellaring Made Simple with Vinote Cellar Software and Tags

October 15, 2009 — Vinote Systems a leading provider of Wine Cellaring tools, today announced the release of Vinote Cellar version 1.0, a new wine cellaring software package which enables users to manage their wines, keep track of their bottle locations, best drink by dates, and wine tasting notes.

Using software to manage wine cellars has become an important part of wine cellaring as it speeds up the process of storing and finding wine within cellars and ensures wine is drunk at its optimum time.

Vinote Cellar is a replacement for the popular Vinote+Plus windows software program which has been used happily by thousands of people since it was first released 8 years ago. Vinote Cellar has all the great features of Vinote Plus, but adds online connectivity and a huge database of wines to make searching easier. New features of Vinote Cellar include the ability to share and lookup average drink by dates, read tasting notes of others as well as automatic backup of all cellars.

Vinote Cellar can be accessed by using any web browser (www.vinote.com), however, there is also a Microsoft Windows application which is automatically synchronized with the online database and can be used to manage users cellars as an alternative to the web cellar.

Both versions of Vinote Cellar are free.

System Requirements and Availability

Vinote Cellar runs inside any web browser and Vinote Cellar Client is available as a download for any Microsoft Windows PC running the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5. The .NET Framework can be downloaded from the Microsoft website. Both systems are free and signup is quick.
