Similar with the DC 40, it is compatible with Astro-320 tracking system although vaults ahead in its working by having features like training functions, bark-detections, improved satellite coverage, are more durable antenna and battery management.

Independent of the bark detection, the DC 50 has also been enhanced by adding the GLONASS-system of satellites to GPS satellites that happen to be commonly used. That is believed to offer users with extra 21 earth-orbiting satellites for DC50 which improves locating and tracking of dogs even just in deep canyons or under heavy tree cover. Now you can see whether your dog is barking you aren’t. The raised battery costs 26 hours if fully arrested for the lake-proof transmitter operating approximately 10 meters. Way more, the DC 50 provides clearer signals to satellites.

The principle GPS-housing inside collar sits beneath the dog’s neck as the improved low-profile antenna is put over the dog’s neck. It supports GLONASS providing 20% faster GPS speeds with the capacity for locking no more than 24 satellites. The modern antenna is made of braided steel and adheres to any or all hard-charging dogs. The collar includes a standard 1 ” coated polyurethane strap links in blue when shipped alone but also comes in orange when bought along with the Astro-320 handheld tracking system.
